Rachel and Antonio have always loved Lisbon. Over the years, the city became one of their favorite places in Europe—full of light, history, and soul. So when they began imagining their wedding day, there was little doubt about where it should be. With Rachel’s family and friends based in the UK and Antonio’s in Brazil, Lisbon felt like the perfect meeting point—easy to reach, welcoming to all, and effortlessly romantic.

For the design, Rachel envisioned soft pastel tones of blush pink and delicate blue. These hues flowed throughout the day, appearing in the flowers, candles, linens, and décor. The stationery subtly echoed architectural details from both the church and the venue, tying the visual story together. Every element was crafted to complement the timeless elegance of Palácio de Tancos, whose rooms are adorned with traditional Portuguese azulejo walls—an inspiring feature that shaped the entire aesthetic.

After the Catholic ceremony, guests were invited to experience Lisbon in a truly authentic way. With the church located in the heart of the old town, the couple chose to walk to the reception venue together with their guests, accompanied by traditional Portuguese music. The joyful procession wound through the historic streets, turning the journey itself into part of the celebration, with passersby smiling and cheering along the way.

The festivities continued at Palácio de Tancos, where elegance, warmth, and meaningful details came together to create a day that felt deeply personal and unmistakably Lisbon.
